London photography exhibition opens in Ealing

great exhibition for  Award-winning photographer Phil Hatcher has launched a new exhibit, London Perspective, at Artisan Coffee in Ealing.

Phil is a London based photographer who has lived and worked in many countries around the world, predominantly in South America.

In 2009 he was invited to work for Bushmasters, an extreme jungle survival company based in Guyana, where he documented clients’ expeditions into the jungle through a series of photographs. Whilst in the country, Phil also attended Guyana’s annual rodeo weekend where by gaining access to the arena floor, he was able to capture more intimately the intensity of rodeo events such as bull riding and barrel racing. The photos provided an insight into the Guyanese character and were used for promotional purposes by Bushmasters and the Guyanese Tourism Authority.

In 2012 Phil’s work was exhibited for the first time in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2015, Phil’s photograph, ‘No Sleep for Two Years’ won first prize in City Lit’s Portrait competition. Also in 2015, a new body of work was presented in the UK for the first time. ‘London Perspectives’ offers up contrasting views of the capital and its inhabitants, exploring the highs and lows of London.
